Four Fascinating Facts From A Friend

Please take the time to read this. FOUR FACTS FROM A FRIEND. It contains less than 1200 word; yet it may help to establish a friendship which would GROW forever.

There are four tremendous Spiritual Principles when properly understood and acted upon will bring a person tot he assurance that he has eternal life and will go to heaven when he dies.

I. THE FIRST PRINCIPLE IS THE FACT OF SIN"
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.

THE WORD " ALL" PLACES US "ALL" IN THE SAME BOAT.
This means that I have sinned. That means that the finest person in the world has sinned. That means "YOU" have sinned also. 

YOU HAVE HEARD OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS HAVEN'T YOU ? Most people are trying to live up to the Ten Commandments, and by doing so, they hope to go to heaven when they die. In reality every normal adult has broken most, if not all, of the Ten Commandments.

For Example, One of the commandments states, 
"Thou shalt not take God's name in vain,"
Another says "Honor thy father and thy mother." 
Still a third states: "Thou shall not bear false witness." or lie.
IN ORDER TO HELP YOU SEE that all have sinned, may I ask you this question?

HOW MANY BANKS WOULD A MAN HAVE TO ROB BEFORE HE BECAME A BANK ROBBER? By the same logic one lie would make a person a liar; while one sin would make a person a sinner. The first fact one must face and accept is that he has broken God's law and is a sinner.

II. THE SECOND SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLE IS THE CONSEQUENCE OF SIN.
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23

THERE ARE TWO KEYS WORDS IN THIS VERSE, WAGES AND DEATH.
Wages means payoff, penalty or what one gets for being a sinner. 
DEATH MEANS SEPARATION. First there is the physical death.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A FUNERAL?
The body is lying in the casket. The real person has been separated from his body.
That is physical death.
